Dog friendly and super comfortable! Huge bed, amazing food, wonderful hosts! Highly recommended

In Sharish I had an amazing experience with my wife and my 3 months old child. First thing I should mention in this review is that Alexandra and Miguel are great hosts, and they did everything at their hand to make our stay perfect. You will be very well received in Sharish. The Rural House is recently built (at least the part for the guests) and has a very modern construction. The decoration is very quaint, and suiting for the style of what is traditional in Alentejo. Around the house you have several animals like horses, goats, dogs and a cat which are a part of the experience. The dogs and cat are very sociable and you will find yourself interacting with them quickly. The Horses and Goats have a proper paddock. There is also a car parking space with shade for each guest room in Sharish. The rooms are spacious, with a big television and a big and comfortable bed. The bathroom is large with a walk-in shower which is of good quality. It also has a towel heater if needed. They have several windows with automatic blinds, which allow for a perfect blackout on the room if desired. Also their soundproofing is excellent. The main window of the rooms (which is very large) has a great view to the pool and landscape around the House which is impressive. This window also doubles as a door you can use to access the pool from the room. You have a small balcony for each room with chairs and sofa, which you can use for the pool if you don't want to be exposed to the sun, which was excellent for us due to our newborn child. The breakfast is composed of regional and traditional foods. You will have bread, cheese, cold cuts, chorizo, fruit, yogurt, fresh juice, coffee, honey and different types of jam. All is according to seasonal availability and of very good quality. Sharish does not provide Lunch and Dinner (at least not on a regular basis), however the hosts will give you proper advice on local restaurants which are quite near, and will leave you delighted. This region of Portugal has very good food. The pool is small with depths from 1.1 meters to 1.4 meters. However it's a perfect size for the house, and is heated with a natural and sustainable source. It has an "infinity pool" style view to the landscape which will be unforgettable to you. We will surely return to Sharish and enjoy this fine experience again. Thanks for everything Alexandra and Miguel.
